I currently have Joseph marked as the born son of Uriah and Mary (Beaber) Renner, but I find myself a bit skeptical of that, and tend to think there's a strong likelihood he was adopted. He was born in 1912, when his mother would have been forty-eight and his father would have about seventy-two.
