William H. Caley, 70, of 5 Green Hill Court, Huntington, died Sept. 23, 1994, at 7:45 a.m. in Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Caley worked several years at Our Sunday Visitor and IMCO, retiring from IMCO, and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689 and was an active volunteer for the Huntington Center.

An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart.

Mr. Caley was born June 12, 1924, in Huntington to Dorman L. and Georgeanna Emley Caley. He was married May 24, 1946, to Ruth R. Larr, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary and Paul, both of Huntington; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Rebecca) Brown, of Tumbling Shoals, AR, and Teresa Helwig, of Huntington; two brothers, Robert, of Huntington, and Edward, of Blue Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Leroy (Esther) Scott, of Ellenton, FL, and Dorothy Walters, Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Larr and Mrs. Dennis (Shelby) Osborn, all of Huntington; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were Sept. 26, 1994, at 10 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Ron Rieder officiating. Burial was in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
