Narrative

Roger appears to be buried in Murray Cemetery in Murray, Wells Cty, Indiana, though the woman buried next to him is not Betty Alberta Collins, but a younger woman named Glenola. Her inscription on the stone gives her birth year as 1923, and her year of death as 1969. The listing for her on the FindaGrave.com website names her Glenola Beers, and gives full birth and death dates. It also links to a listing for a daughter, Sylvia S. (Brown) Keller (b. 15 Jun 1945, d. 17 Dec 2018).

Glenola appears to be Glenola May Beers, born in Michigan to Grace Whitney and Glenn Beers. Grace was widowed as a young mother, and remarried to Burton Edinger in Ohio in 1927. Glenola remained living in Burton's household in Michigan until at least 1940, when she was counted in the census.

I have not found any marriage record for Roger and Glenola, nor have I found any death record for Glenola. I have also not found any death or burial record for Betty Alberta. I would guess that Betty died in the early years of her marriage to Roger, and that he remarried in the early-to-mid 1940s. It is also possible that Betty and Roger divorced. At this point, I do not know with any clear degree of certainty the specific parentage of Roger's children (as named in Sylvia's obituary, mentioned above). For now, I have chose to exclude them from the tree until more definite information can be found.
