Note: Researching Gloria Jean Gremaux and family

Gloria appears to have married twice as a young woman - first in late 1944, just a few weeks before her nineteenth birthday, to Kentucky-born Luther Hamack (or similar, as I have not confirmed the spelling of his surname). This marriage was fairly short-lived, as Gloria noted that she was divorced in 1947 on the record for her second marriage.

Gloria remarried in 1950 to George J. Gaskill, remaining with him until his death in 1984. George's obituary names four children, as well as two step-daughters, which strongly suggests that Gloria and her first husband had two children prior to their divorce. I have not yet managed to find any confirmed records for these two named step-daughters, though it would seem that finding birthdates for them that fall in between 1945 and 1948 would at least support this guess.
