Pictured from left to right are Marie Evelyn Thompson (noted by Rose as "my own"), Mary Elinor Rudkin (noted by Rose as "Vina's babe," and presumably Rose's niece by her brother George and his wife Vina), and Ellis Edwin Wells (noted by Rose as "Ethel's baby," and presumably Rose's niece by her sister Ethel and her husband Edward). Given the apparent ages of the three, this picture was likely taken sometime in late 1911.
