OBITUARY Evelyn M. Sisson Evelyn M. Sisson, 85, Winterhaven, Fla., died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 6, 2001) at the Winterhaven Hospital. Mrs. Sisson was a homemaker and had lived in the Fort Wayne and North Webster areas before moving to Florida in 1980. She was a member of the Sherman Street Church of God, Fort Wayne, and the Fort Meade Church of God, Fort Meade, Fla. She was born in Van Wert, Ohio, on Sept. 19, 1915, to Heber and Blanche Woodard Dush. Her first husband was Dale R. Smith, who died in 1978. She then married Kermit Funderburg; he died on Nov. 14, 1987. Her third husband was Earl Sisson, who died in May 1996. Survivors include four stepdaughters, Mrs. Richard (Joan) Beall, Lake Wales, Fla., Mrs. James (Lois) Watkins, Warsaw, Mrs. Carl (June) Niemann, Huntington, and Mrs. Burton (Mary Lou) Bennett, Fort Myers, Fla.; several stepgrandchidren; several great-stepgrandchildren; and several great-great stepgrandchildren. Private family visitation will be at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Gardens Chapel, Fort Wayne, with Rev. Curtiss Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
