Mrs. Philip Daley, 72, died at her home at 513 South Street, Friday morning, Sept. 3, following a long illness.

Mrs. Daley, the former Catherine Sullivan, was born March 27, 1882 in the Town of Erin, Washington County. She was married to Mr. Daley June 12, 1907 at St. Patrick's Church in the Town of Erin. After their marriage the couple operated a general store at Alderly for several years. Later, they moved to a farm near Mapleton. They came to Oconomowoc about thirty years ago. Mr. Daley died June 8, 1932.

Mrs. Daley is survived by two daughters, Miss Beatrice Daley and Mrs. Agnes Shannon, both of Oconomowoc; five sons, Raymond of Saudi Arabia; Irving of Waukesha; James of Oconomowoc; Eugene of North Lake; and Clair of Milwaukee; 17 grandchildren; and three brothers, Raymond and Charles Sullivan, both of Chicago, and Louis of Pasco, Washington. A son, Cecil, and a daughter, Corinne, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the Lyke Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church. The Rev. Gerald McGinnity officiated. Burial was in the Mapleton cemetery where the Rev. L.F. Whelan conducted the service.

OCONOMOWOC - Mrs. Catherine Daley, 72, died Friday at her residence, 513 W. South St. Born at Thompson, Washington county, she has resided in Oconomowoc 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip, on June 8, 1932. Mrs. Daley was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic church and of its Altar society.

Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice at home and Mrs. Agnes Shannon of Oconomowoc; five sons, Raymond of Saudi Arabia; Irving of Waukesha; Eugene of North Lake, Clair of Milwaukee; and James at home; three brothers, Raymond and Charles Sullivan of Pasco, Washington; and 17 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the Lyke funeral home and at 9:30 at St. Jerome's. The Rev. Gerald McGinnity will officiate Burial will be in St. Catherine's cemetery, Mapleton. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
