Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Ballinger Funeral Home, Rev. Herachel Roper officiating, for Gladys M. Beckley, 55, of 114 S. Fulton St. Mrs. Beckley, seriously ill for five months, passed away at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, in Marion General Hospital.

Mrs. Beckley operated a day-care center at her residence in Richwood. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and currently served its members as President. She was also a member of First Baptist Church.

Born August 8, 1922 in Union County, she was a daughter of John and Mary Lee Green DeBolt. Her husband, Alfred Beckley, preceded her in death in 1965.

Surviving is one daughter, Sandra Kissell, of the residence, a granddaughter, two sisters, Mrs. Obed Hildreth of Chatfield, O., and Mrs. Harvey Tanner of Richwood and three brothers, Harold, Eldon, and Carl Debolt, all of Richwood.
