Narrative
Between 1920 and 1930, Oscar divorced from his first wife (Lottie Ann Cartmill) and remarried to Florence Beth (Collins) Mccroskey. In the 1930 US Census, he is listed wth his second wife, her three sons (Jack, Billie, and Leslie Mccroskey, ages fourteen, thirteen, and eleven, respectively) and her younger brother, John Collins.
By the time of the 1940 US Census, Oscar and his wife are still living with two of her three sons - John Henry, age twenty-four, and Leslie Jewel, age twenty-one. In this record, the boys are listed with the Boyington surname, though whether this is an indication of an assumption on the part of the census taker, a simplification of the family situation on the part of Oscar and Florence Beth, or some other reason is unknown.
I have not found any indication that Oscar and Florence Beth had any children together.
