DELPHOS - Verona Bergfeld Kundert, 87, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in St. Rita's Hospital.

Born Feb. 16, 1886, in Delphos she was the daughter of Mathias and Anna Stippich Fornefield.

She married John Henry Bergfeld in 1912 and he died in 1955. She was married to Edward Kundert and he died in 1968.

Survivors include two step-sons, Eugene and Joseph Kundert, both of here; three sisters, Sister Mary Clarence and Sister Mary Claretta, both of St. Joseph Villa, LaCrosse, Wis., and Mrs. Rose M. Finlay of here.

Mrs. Kundert was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight. Parish wake service will be recited tonight at 8.
