MARION H. "RED" SPICKELMIER, 76, of Lake Wales died Thursday at Winter Haven Hospital. A native of Huntington, Ind., he came to Lake Wales from Indiana six years ago. He was retired from Dana Corp. axle manufacturing plant in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was a member of South Lake Wales Church of God. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both in Fort Wayne. He is survived by his wife, Edra M.; two sons, Steven A. of Jacksonville and Jeff C. of Homer, Alaska; a daughter, Jorja K. Smith of Fort Wayne; a brother, Kenneth S., and a sister, Mable Gundy, both of Huntington; and eight grandchildren. Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
