WAPAKONETA - James F. Ellsworth, 58, 17 E. Silver, died at 12:05 am.m today at St. Rita's Hospital from a heart ailment. He had been seriously ill for two days.

He was born April 6, 1901 in Defiance, Ohio. He was married June 5, 1948 to Elizabeth Sunderland who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Sue) Pixler, Defiance; Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Colwell, Defiance; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Blanche) Metker, Ft. Wayne; Mrs. Milton (Kathryn) Bayliss, Defiance.

Mrs. Ellsworth served with the Marine Corp in World War I. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Defiance F. and A.M. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine and is a retired Prudential Insurance man. He now owned and operated the Wapa Bargain center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Siferd Funeral Home, Rev. C.F. Weissling, D.D. will officiate and burial will be in the Spencerville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Siferd Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight. The Scottish Rite Service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
