Mrs. Bertha E. Stuver, 89, a resident of the Methodist Memorial Home in Warren since March 1957, died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the home.

She was a former resident of Huntington and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Huntington.

Mrs. Stuver was born Feb. 8, 1889 in Fronter [sic], Mich., to Rev. A.A. and Caroline hibbard Powell, and her marriage was on Aug. 24, 1907 to Henry Stuver, who died July 28, 1964.

Two nieces survive.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday in the Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, where services wil be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Don Jennings and Rev. Gail Davis officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, and Butler Funeral Home, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.
