Don K. Lahr, 1466S-100E, died at 7:13 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 12, 2000) at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lahr, a 1954 graduate of Rock Creek Township High School, was a dairy and grain farmer in Rock Creek Township and a member of the Dairy Farmers of America. He was a member of the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren. He was born Oct. 22, 1936 in Huntington County, a son of Guy Lahr and Mary Helen Davis Lahr. He married Diane Foust Dec. 2, 1962; his wife survives. Additional survivors include a daughter, Shelly Eads, Huntington; a brother, Dean P. Lahr, Huntington; and a grandson. A son, Kevin M. Lahr, is deceased. Calling is fmor 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. George Dorsett will officiate. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren or the American Diabetes Association, in care of bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W.
