Pictured right is Lawrence Tillman Gunn with his wife, Ethel, prior to their divorce, and one of their daughters; the original annotations on the back of this photo, by Mary Alice (Bayha) Thomas, read "Lawrence Gunn, wife and child." Later, Jean Pasko added (for Jane Anne Thomas) the name "Phyllis" to the annotations, indicating the child. I'm uncertain whether this is correct or not, as their elder daughter, Dorothy, was only four years older than Phylis and would most likely have been included in the photo.
If we assume the child is Dorothy, then the photo likely dates from 1930 or 1931, prior to Phylis' birth. If the girl is Phylis, then the photo dates from around 1934 or 1935.
