Pictured are Floyd "Tommy" Thomas Jr., standing right, with wife Kathryn Claire (Stonebraker) Thomas, front right, and sister Jane Anne Thomas, front left. Standing left (according to the notes written on the back of the photo for Jane Anne by Jean Pasko) is Howard "Bud" Pohler, a name I recall mentioned many years ago by Jane Anne as her fiance.
I recall her telling me about Bud leaving for the war (presumably WWII) and coming back a "changed" man, and their wedding was called off because of it. I've found little information for Bud outside of an obituary from 2007, his Social Security Death Index record, and a note on his listing on the FindaGrave.com website indicating there was no burial information available. His obituary names no children and indicates he married in 1968 (when he was forty-five, and his wife fifty).
