This photo postcard has written on the back "With Love, Your Grandchildren Spike and Sarah Compton." This is presumably after they were married (New Year's Eve 1942), and presumably addressed to Effie (Stuver) Bayha, Sarah's paternal grandmother. I'm fairly certain the handwriting is Sarah's.
